From recycling programs to ensuring all areas have access to clean water, we’re working hard to keep the earth in its best condition.
Lions Australia has been actively involved in restoring the Hunter Wetlands in New South Wales for more than 20 years. In addition to building pathways and bridges, the local Jesmond Lions have also built special trails for blind and visually impaired visitors. Each year, Lions International exchange students take up an environment project at the wetlands, such as building breeding hatches for endangered birds.
